Another Monday, another ultrasound!! Great news and greater news. We went in today for our weekly ultrasound with our specialist and everything looks great. We could make out the head and the little arms and legs (nubs more like it). Honey Bunny grew a lot this week and we also got to hear the heartbeat again. It was racing at 176 which the doctor said was fantastic.
Our doctor also informed us that today was our last visit with him and that I would be released back to my regular OB. We are kind of sad about being released, we really like our specialist and have gotten attached to them all. They truly have helped us achieve this little miracle.
I will again try and attach pictures but not really sure if I can do it right, might have to ask Tom to fix what I try and put up!!!

We went back to the doctor today for another ultrasound. We were very excited about seeing our little beans. Baby A (Honey Bunny), has a very strong heartbeat and grew just as it should have in a week. On the other hand, Baby B (Sweetpea), did not grow this week and no longer has a heartbeat. It has been a rollercoaster event this week, finding out we had twins and to find out today that one did not make it. We have been so blessed and are truly grateful for our pregnancy. Please pray for our healthy little baby, that it grows and will join us in December.

Lots of “window shopping” this weekend.
First, we decided to begin pricing cribs and such. We visited a few specialty stores as well as the Toys-R-Us (since we don’t have a Babies-R-Us in Lubbock). There was a significant price difference between the specialties and Toys-R-Us. Since we’ll be buying two, the specialty stores are definitely out of the question. We’re going to go to a Babies-R-Us in Dallas in the next couple of weeks; bigger selection and options than our local Toys-R-Us.
Next, we started looking at everything else – formula, diapers, monitors, car seats, strollers, etc. These things aren’t cheap! We’re starting to figure out what we’re really going to need two of and what we won’t.
While we were at Target, I made the comment to Monica that this feels like we’re getting married all over again.. going through stores, starting to pick out certain brands and models for registries, and so on.
This is going to be fun. 
PS – We have another doctor appointment Monday morning, so we’ll be sure to post an update afterwards.

I just wanted to let you know of some great news. Monica and I are expecting our first baby this year! Actually, we’re expecting our first TWO babies this year! Yes, that’s right.. TWINS! Official due date is December 4th.
