  1. 251

July 13, 2008 by Monica Sepper

Today marks 251 days in our world..Katie Lynn spent 251 days in my tummy.  It is hard to believe that she has now spent just as much time with us as we spent waiting for her to get here.

The first 251 days was much longer than the past 251 days.  It is hard for me to believe that she is already 8 months old.

  2. Our New Pool…….

July 11, 2008 by Monica Sepper

well at least our new neighborhood pool. (we are moved and working on getting unpacked, story to come soone with pictures.) After getting moved in to the house, we decided to go check out the pool.  There are 2 different pools that we can use in our community.  1 happens to be just a 4 minute walk from our house.

Growing up, I loved the water and my family spent the weekends at the lake on the water.  I want Katie Lynn to love the water and get to spend her summers in the water.  With the community pools we get the best of both worlds.  We get a pool that we can use anytime but don’t have to keep up with.  We plan on taking full advantage of our pool this summer.  Katie Lynn loves the pool.

Sitting on the step and laughing up a storm

  3. Happy 8 month birthday

July 8, 2008 by Monica Sepper

Katie Lynn turned 8 months old on Saturday.  She is growing so fast and doing so well.  We think she is getting close to saying her first word.  She sure keeps us laughing with all her different facial expression.  Here are some photos of her from her 8 month old birthday!

  4. Lubbock In Your Rear View Mirror

July 7, 2008 by Monica Sepper

Where to start….Lubbock has been a wonderful place to live, work and get together with great friends. We will miss our friends and we will miss going to Texas Tech sporting events but we will not miss the random brown skies.

We spent the last couple of weeks saying goodbye to friends and visiting the sights of Lubbock.

This was not our last time in Lubbock, we plan on visiting every fall for a good football game and in the spring for basketball.

This move was very smooth.  The movers showed up Tuesday at 8am and started loading us up, 4 hours later they took off. Then we made the big trip knowing that once we left, we would no longer be living in Lubbock. It took us about 6 hours to get from Lubbock to our new home in McKinney.

Our first night here was wonderful. I think we spent most of the night just amazed that we were really here and couldn’t wait to get things done. The next morning the movers got here and unloaded our truck.

It is now Monday night and we have been here for almost a whole week. We made it safe and sound, now just to get settled.

Here are some photos from our last week in Lubbock.

Best group of friends a girl could ask for, I am going to miss this group so much.
(We have room, you can always come and visit!!! )

    All the kiddos together.

Dana and Judy, two ladies who are very special to me.

Emma Kate and her mommy invited us over to swim. The girls had so much to talk about.

Colin invited Katie Lynn over to hang out.

All our love to our friends who are like family in Lubbock.  See you this fall at a game!! (We can’t stay away for long)

PS Congrats to Larry and Janae on the birth of their baby girl today.
