Another Saturday, another Game Day. Texas Tech Red Raiders have had an awsome start this season. They now sit at 7-0. We went over to my folks place to watch the game and of course took lots of pictures. I only have a few as I took pictures with my mom’s camera so I will have to get those and share. Katie Lynn loves her Red Raiders!

Here I am checking out this huge flower, my Granddad and Grams got the plants when my Mommy and Daddy got married.

What a wonderful weekend. We had such a wonderful trip out to Lubbock. We saw lots of good friends and our football team even won the game, just for us.
Katie Lynn did so well in the car, since we left Thursday night, she slept almost the whole way, and then even slept through the night. When we got to Lubbock, we checked into the hotel and Katie Lynn checked out the hotel room. She loved the all the different floor textures and all the un-safe things to climb. She then decided it was time to potty train herself or at least check out the toilet.
Friday morning we took a trip up to Tom’s old office to visit his friends and co-workers. Everyone was hard at work on a Friday. Next we went to Monica’s old job and visited more friends and co-workers. Next we headed over to Jennifers house and we got to meet Camren for the first time. Super cute baby. After there we got to shop! We neede some new Tech stuff to wear to the game. Later that night we were off to visit our good friend Larry and Janae. Katie Lynn was excited to get to meet Lani for the first time. We were all excited to meet Lani, she was very talkative and told us all about her day. After a long day, we hit the hotel and called it a night. (we then realized that we didn’t take a single picture all day….)
Saturday was finally here, we were very excited to take Katie Lynn to her first Tech game. We hung out at campus and got together with Aunt Amanda. Next stop, the football game. What a game for sure, we were scared that Tech was going to loose but they pulled it out in the end. Lets hope that the game coming up will not be so close. After the game we met up with some friends, Tania, Brady, Tyler, Cristie and Colin. It was so good to catch up and let the kiddos play together. The kids were trying to see who could bump their heads the most. It was then time to call it a night, back to the hotel to get some sleep.
Sunday…already…the weekend was over in a blink. We got up and meet Amanda and Chris for breakfast. We had a nice time and then it was time to head home.
We enjoyed our trip to Lubbock so much. We miss all our friends and really enjoyed getting to catch up and see everyone. Katie Lynn can’t wait to go back sometime to catch a basketball game.
