Early morning Saturday.
I got up this morning at 6:20 so that I could hit a consignment sale in the area. I was told it was one of the better sales in the area. I got there at about 10 til 7. They opened at 7 am. There was a line, not to bad and it was sleeting. Yes, sleeting…Yes, March 28, Yes, it was cold.
I was on a mission. Rocker, shoes, outfits……ready, set, go. Katie Lynn loves the toy rockers at Day Care, so we have been trying to find one for her. Everything we have found was between 50-100 bucks. SO of course we want her to have one since she loves them! First area I walk through is toys, good. I found the rocker section and found the cutest one!! I was very excited. Took a look, 7 bucks!! What a deal, it is mine or well, Katie Lynn’s.
Next stop, shoes. We just went yesterday and bought KL some new shoes since she has out grown her first pair of real walker shoes. Her feet measured 4.5 and she was wearing a 4. Poor thing, we had been squishing her feet. We got a pair yesterday but I wanted to look and see if there might be a 2nd pair for just in case. I did find a pair of pink/white Keds that will be great! Check!
Then it was time to hit the clothes! My favorite part. We got some dresses about a month ago at Once Upon a Child so I knew not to buy too many….I found some cute tops and a few summer dresses this morning. Everything was such a great deal and I am so glad that I went first thing this morning.
I was in and out in 25 minutes. As I was leaving, it was now snowing and the place was starting to get crowded.

Not too bad if I don’t say myself. It was worth getting up at 6:20 on a weekend just to the find the rocker.

We only have one consignment sale here in Lubbock and it’s a huge deal when it happens. Looks like you scored some great deals!
Mom you are awesome! I know daddy was proud of all your bargains too! Ya know, you spent money to save money. Been there done that many times when my babies were growing up. LOL KL is our little fashion model, no doubt!
