Super Busy Weekend…

September 20, 2010 by Monica Sepper

now we need a weekend to rest….oh well.  We had such a super busy weekend and had so much fun.  We started of by getting up Saturday morning to head down to the Plano Balloon Festival.  We arrived at about 650am and found a spot to watch the balloons take off.  We had great seats!

Whats up?

Could they be standing any more alike?

We ran into some friends of ours, amazing that with all the people there that they ended up walking right by our spot.  The girls were so excited to see their friends.

Here is Katie Lynn and Ava, we were all laughing at how they were dressed to match ;)

Finally time for the balloons to take off…

Katie Lynn was in balloon heaven!

I really liked this one, my stars!

Tom took some photos of the balloons taking off into the morning sun. I think they turned out really neat.

Not sure what the girls are looking at? The balloons are the other way.

As the balloons finished taking off, one more came over the hill and it was a HUGE ladybug. Our girls were so excited!

We then headed down to check out the kids zone.  Katie Lynn found a bounce house she wanted to try out and Karyn wanted a balloon of her very own, of course we had to get her one ;)

After are fun morning we headed out to meet up with some good friends.  We had such a great time and took a picture of the kiddos. Well, we took lots but this was the only good one.  All the kids were ready for the big game!

(R, C, K, & KL) C & K are just 2 weeks apart, we laughed because they were like looking at a set of twins ;)

What a wonderful Saturday……Sunday was just as busy.

We started of getting up early yet again and found ourselves out the door for our next busy day. Tom has been talking about the BEARS game for months….lots of months, ever since he heard the Bears would play the Cowboys this season like 2 years ago. We all got ready in our Bear Gear.

Our two girls dressed to cheer on the Bears.

Family Photo!!

Time to head to the game, the girls got to spend the day with Monica’s folks.

We were off, only took about 30 mintues to get there and Tom found a great parking spot.  It was only about a 10 minute walk to the stadium. Once inside it was time for our mile hike to our seats. We were almost at the top, 6 rows from the top.  Our first Bears game we ended up at the very top.  As we walked up our first set of stairs we heard some loud noise coming from the ground floor, it was of course a bunch of Bears fans making some noise. Very Cool.

Here we are halfway to our seats at this point…

This is my kind of place….Dr. Pepper

The Jumbo JUMBO-tron!

Then it was time for the teams to come out….WOW, they really know how to jazz it up. The stars shot off flames and fireworks.

Final score……ya buddy….Da Bears!

We had so much fun at the game.  It was even better that our team won!!

While we were away the girls did play…here are some pictures from their good times.

Started the morning off with some painting…

Then it was time to make some brownies…not sure how much was made.

Storytime with Granddad.

Karyn’s favorite….lunch, she sure is messy

To end a busy morning, Katie Lynn read a story to Granddad and Moses

wow….all that in 1 very short weekend……till next time
