Lots of things have been going on…here is an update on September and October.Dallas Shower- September 22ndWe traveled to Dallas this weekend for our first baby shower. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law put together a beautiful shower. We had lots of good friends come and help us celebrate our baby to be. We played games, visited and ate some great cake.Lubbock Shower- October 20thI have some of the greatest friends, my sister Amanda, Stephanie, Many and Dru threw me a wonderful shower in Lubbock. All of my friends came and both my mom and mother-in-law came out to celebrate. We got lots of nice gifts and I know they will all come in handy for when our baby comes.Classes started Late OctoberFinally…our classes have started at the hospital. We will be going and learning how to take care of a baby. We are very excited because this means our baby is getting closer to being here.

Baby Room

Finally, we have talked about it for weeks about painting the baby room and now it is offically done!! We picked out a beautiful shade of yellow and we think it looks great with the furniture and the baby bedding. We got the crib and 2 dressers up and ready to go. Now we will be shifting them around after we get rid of our guest bed but that will wait till the end of October. Still need a place for the parents to stay during Football season, because it is all about Football in the fall!!!
Tom and I spent our day Saturday painting, painting and painting and then spent our Sunday assembling the furniture. We also put up some of the baby stuff, we love it and it made it seem all so real!! We are finally into the last 3 months, give or take a few days

24 Weeks

Just popping in with an update. Today we hit 24 weeks, and considered to be in our 6th month. The baby has been moving lots more and kicking harder too. Honey Bunny decided to play for about an hour and a half last night when I was ready to go to bed. I guess he/she is getting me ready for what is to come. I have posted a photo to show my belly and that is all for now.
